Understanding and Applying the COVID-19 Respiratory Protection Requirements Webinar - Thursday, May 7, 2020 | 2:00-3:00 PM ET


NECA has developed material for members and employees to understand the difference between cloth face coverings, filtering facepieces and respirators and this webinar will discuss this, along with provide basic guidance for determining use, applicability, and establishing priorities for ordering the appropriate respiratory personal protective equipment during the current nationwide shortages of N95 or better respirators.

We will also discuss how understanding the federal, state and local requirements and recommendations is important in maintaining the proper PPE available for healthcare workers and how accessing risks and exposures are critical processes during the current pandemic situation affecting the electrical industry and all workers across America. Following OSHA/CDC and manufacturers recommendations, employers and employees can maximize the use of available face coverings and appropriate respirators to protect workers.
