Technology Spotlight Series: BuildOps Webinar - Friday, June 19, 2020 | 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM ET

  • 06/19/2020

What construction technology is right for you? As technology companies continiously flood the construction industry with offerings, it has become a major challenge for construction companies to answer that question.

To help our members solve this challenge, the NECA Innovation team will be hosting a weekly webinar series highlighting fully-vetted construction technologies. Each session will be a sales-free educational overview of key functionalities and expert analysis on how a technology can be used in your business. Our goal is to provide you with the information you need to help answer the question, "Is this the right technology for my business?".

BuildOps’ platform offers full functionality tailored to NECA contractors to help streamline their business operations. With BuildOps, NECA contractors have access to a software platform that integrates scheduling, dispatching, inventory management, contracts, workflow and accounting into a single software package with staff ranging from a few dozen to several hundred employees. The platform leverages data analytics and key third-party integrations to maximize efficiency, grow revenue, deliver cost savings, and increase productivity.

This program will be delivered by Alex Chanani, CEO at Buildops and moderated by Josh Bone, NECA's Executive Director of Industry Innovation and Lonnie Cumpton, NECA's Director of Construction Manufacturing.

Alok Chanani is an entrepreneur who spent nearly a decade as the Founder/CEO of USA Commercial, a development/construction company that built apartment buildings, hotels, and large scale commercial projects in Los Angeles, Austin, Detroit, and Seattle.  During this time, Alok realized how innovational technology could change the lives of the specialty contractors he was working with and inspired him to launch an incredibly modern, robust software solution.  A former U.S. Army Captain, Alok served as an infantry platoon leader, combat engineer, and Unit Commander in Baghdad - spending a year moving hundreds of millions of USD in cash around Iraq.  Alok has a BS from Cornell University, and an MBA in real estate from the Wharton School.

Due to the large number of attendees participating in this event, we recommend you join the webinar 10 minutes early to ensure your audio connection is working properly.
