What construction technology is right for you? As technology companies continuously flood the construction industry with offerings, it has become a major challenge for construction companies to answer that question.
To help our members solve this challenge, the NECA Innovation team will be hosting a weekly webinar series highlighting fully-vetted construction technologies. Each session will be a sales-free educational overview of key functionalities and expert analysis on how a technology can be used in your business. Our goal is to provide you with the information you need to help answer the question, "Is this the right technology for my business?".
After seeing endless construction software that was complex and made for the office, Raken designed a tool with the field crews in mind. It’s the easiest app to use that helps you collect better data straight from the field. Instead of spending an extra hour at the end of every day, superintendents and subcontractors can complete their daily reports as they walk the jobsite. They can quickly complete a daily checklist, log any notes with voice-to-text, complete time cards, take photos, then sign and send the report—all in one place.
In addition to daily reports, Raken helps streamline time cards, production tracking (including materials and equipment logs), and toolbox talks. It makes it easy to collect better jobsite data, while giving the office real-time dashboards and insights into what’s happening each day. In this webinar, we’ll cover: dailies that will help you win more jobs and protect you from litigation, easy time tracking to streamline payroll, getting visibility into jobsite progress with dashboards and insights, and performing toolbox talks to be compliant on your safety metrics.
This program will be delivered by Stan Singh who is Director of Product at Raken and moderated by Josh Bone, NECA's Executive Director of Industry Innovation and Lonnie Cumpton, NECA's Director of Construction Manufacturing.
Stan Singh, Director of Product at Raken, has worked closely with superintendents and foremen to improve their jobsite documentation for over 7 years. In his career, Singh has owned and operated a residential painting operation and worked as a project engineer for large commercial GCs such as Turner and Kitchell. He then took his practical experience first to Bluebeam and now Raken as a product director, using his unique insight into the pain points of construction workers in the field to create technology solutions. Singh truly believes that empathy for the needs of end-users is the key to the construction industry adopting technology. As such he has built simple, powerful tools to improve the lives of construction professionals, saving them time and making their jobs easier. Singh holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCSD and is also a LEED AP. He serves his community as a mentor in the ACE program that helps high school students learn about the AEC industry and was honored as Big Brother of the Year in 2013.
Due to the large number of attendees participating in this event, we recommend you join the webinar 10 minutes early to ensure your audio connection is working properly.
