The COVID-19 virus has created an extraordinary worldwide event. The direct impacts to contractors have been substantial with many segments of construction being shut down completely. The impacts on cost and schedule will be significant and there are currently limited tools available in the market that contractors can use to quantify and substantiate management decisions and develop a defensible approach to pricing the impacts.
To assist the industry, Electri International has commissioned a study to assist contractors with this effort. This webinar, facilitated by the research authors, will introduce tools to identify and quantify the impacts on jobsite productivity as discussed in this study. The impacts have been evaluated, quantified and built into a user-friendly calculator that can be used to price change orders and quantify the impacts on jobsite productivity. This will serve as the starting point of negotiating, as well as defining any equitable adjustment of stimulus or other funding received through PPP and EIDL loan programs.
