Immediately Improve Productivity and Profitability

  • 05/24/2016
  • Location: Portland, Oregon

Are you in a hypercompetitive marketplace and need to lower your costs? Frustrated with costly impacts to your bottom line that you feel helpless to control? Upset about activities that negatively impacts your project schedules? You’re not alone. The construction industry is the only significant U.S. industry that hasn’t increased productivity since the 1960’s. It’s estimated the amount of waste is between thirty and forty percent, which is unsustainable. While most people understand it’s important to eliminate waste and increase the value delivered to the client, there is a great deal of misunderstanding about how this is accomplished. This program provides tools to produce immediate results to a contractor’s bottom line and improve company processes to increase productivity.

Following this course, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss how to pre-plan and eliminate project risk
  • Identify and eliminate critical factors of waste
  • Describe how to use various tools to improve productivity
  • Create a process of continuous improvement where all employees are highly motivated to participate

Target Audience: Superintendents, project managers and senior executives
Duration: Full-day
Continuing Education Hours: 6
Instructor: Ted Garrison; Garrison Associates
