2020 Women in NECA & Future Leaders (WINFL) Leadership Conference

03/ 17 - 19 /2020

One Conference – One Fee – 3 Full Days

WIN+FL_outThe Women in NECA and Future Leaders (WINFL) Leadership Conference will be held March 17-19, 2020 at The Grand Hyatt Tampa in Tampa, Fla.

Register for one single event! The newly combined conference features three full days of education and breakout sessions including featured speakers, group discussions and networking opportunities for both groups, plus a company tour of NECA member MJM Electric facilities. View the agenda
 
Please note the change in the pattern; attendees should plan to arrive Monday, March 16 and depart the morning of Friday, March 21, as the conference starts Tuesday morning and ends Thursday evening.

Registration:

WINFL Leadership Conference registration fee is $895 and covers the cost of the following events:

  • Breakfasts
  • Coffee breaks 
  • Lunches
  • Receptions (heavy hors d’oeuvres and food stations) and group dinner

You may register a spouse or guest for $195. This fee category only covers the evening receptions; lunch and breaks are not included in this fee.

At the end of the registration process, you can link directly to the hotel’s website to reserve your hotel room at the Grand Hyatt Tampa. Rooms are $245 per night plus taxes & fees, based on availability. The last day to book housing is February 17.

Cancellations: Full refunds are available prior to Feb 14, 2019. Refunds less an administrative fee of $100 will be given for cancellations received in writing to taylor@necanet.org prior to March 13, 2019.  Following this date, no refunds will be given. Willis_AlexAlex Willis is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. He has a beautiful wife, Sabrina Willis of fifteen years and two little girls, Alexis and Aubrey. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration. He also received a Master’s degree in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University, where he was the Salutatorian of his class. Alex was a walk-on player for the Florida Gators and member of the 1996 National Championship football team. He later received a full scholarship and was elected team captain in 2000. He also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers under Coach Tony Dungy.

Alex has excelled in Financial Services, Pharmaceutical Sales and Business Development. At Northwestern Mutual, Alex ranked 3rd in sales production for the Southern Region. He ranked 5th in the nation for Eli Lilly in marketing total portfolio sales. Alex has successfully raised over $1.5 million for startup companies and has been instrumental in setting strategy and vision for leadership within these companies. He has spent the last 15 years working with companies to improve the leadership culture within organizations.     Participants will:
    • Understand how increased resilience can lead to improved job performance.
    • Learn how resilient people keep pressure from turning into stress, manage negative emotions, and turn setbacks into opportunities.
    • Use their results from the Challenge of Change resilience assessment to develop an individualized resilience plan based on four tools for managing stress in the workplace.

  2. Physical Resilience

    Participants will:
    • Discover the habits and routines that increase or decrease daily levels of energy.
    • Create a virtuous cycle map and learn from others’ maps.
    • Learn about habit creation and create an action plan to increase daily energy.
    • Engage in a walk and talk activity with an accountability partner.

About Maureen O'Brien:

MO 2019Maureen O’Brien, CEO, MOF is a non-traditional leader. Her first post college job was selling building products to contractors in the Chicago area. Following the birth of her first son, O’Brien launched an exterior remodeling company of her own called O’Brien & Son, Inc. Four children later, that business is in its 32nd year. 

Intrigued by the story of this engaging woman and her choice to play with the "big boys,” speaking requests came for O’Brien to share her story. Armed with a degree in education and the equivalent of a PhD in hard knocks, O’Brien is a highly sought-after business speaker, thought leader, and author, considered an expert in Transformational Leadership, Entrepreneurial Thinking, Relationship Selling, and Inclusion. She is certified in the Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument, driving whole brain thinking and diversity of thought.
