This innovative project boasts an impressive 8.9-megawatt floating solar array, featuring a stunning arrangement of 16,510 solar panels gracefully positioned across 17 acres of water.
The floating solar farm supplies nearly 95% of the energy required by New Jersey American Water's Canoe Brook Water Treatment Plant, showcasing its real-world effectiveness. Furthermore, it produces enough clean energy to power 1,400 homes each year, making a significant impact on the region’s sustainability efforts.
