Careers in Electrical Contracting
There is no single path to a career as an electrical contractor, and many career choices within the industry. NECA sponsors more than 300 joint training programs in the U.S., a program that allow electrical apprentices to earn a paycheck while learning their craft.
NECA's nationwide mentoring initiative brings together contractors that are willing to volunteer as mentors and contractors interested in having the help of a mentor. Whether you’re new to electrical contractor or willing to share your experience, the NECA Mentor program is an investment in your industry.
NECA’s student chapter program is open to any college or university that offers a curriculum that helps prepare students for a career in the electrical construction industry. NECA chapters work with local universities to establish NECA student chapters to support these students.
CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS (CEU'S)
NECA is an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and offers IACET Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for MEI programs that quality under the ANSI/IACET 1–2007 Standard.
