Application Deadline for Student Chapter of the Year Award Extended to August 17

Jul 26, 2017

The deadline for submitting applications for the National Electrical Contractors Association’s Student Chapter of the Year Award program has been extended.

NECA Student Chapters now have until August 17, 2017 to apply. Applications can be downloaded here.

The program honors students, faculty and NECA staff running successful student chapters by promoting activities that expose students to the electrical construction industry and facilitating year-round interaction between members and students. The award also serves as an incentive to student chapters that might not have enough funds to organize activities.

Penn State University was named the 2016 Student Chapter of the Year. This year’s winner will be recognized at NECA 2017 Seattle in October.
