The nominee must have served for at least 10 years (computed to the date of becoming a Fellow of the Academy or to the date of retirement from the electrical contracting industry) in an executive position or positions with a member firm or NECA Chapter or with the Association itself, or with an two or more of these.

If you have not accounted for the 10 year qualification in the previous section, please enter additional employment below to account for the required period. It is permissible to include additional employment at other NECA firms even if the candidate has met the 10 year requirement.

If a nominee has served the same office for different (non-successive) terms, please show the more recent term in this section and show previous term(s) in the Other Chapter Committees or Positions section below.
While civic and public service may enhance the nominee's fitness for Fellowship in the Academy, you should only include the most significant examples of civic, fraternal or philanthropic service. Positions that demonstrate leadership are more significant than merely belonging. The lack of such service shall not be held against the nominee.
The Academy staff needs a point of contact for the nomination (often a chapter staff person). This should be the person that we would contact with questions or suggestions and the person to whom we would confirm the nomination to (with copies to the chapter governor or president and any Fellows lending their endorsement).

Note: current members of the Jury of Fellows and current NECA officers (including the NECA President, Vice Presidents and Chairman of the Academy) are prohibited from counter-signing a nomination initiated by a chapter nominations.
In other words current NECA officer(s) May decide that a candidate should be nominated and they may initiate a nomination. They should not be asked to counter-sign a nomination. Current members of the Jury of Fellows do not have the same privilege and should not initiate or endorse an individual for Fellowship.
The name and year of Academy induction should be entered below for Fellows.
The name of the chapter and its governor or president should be entered below.
The board of directors of the following chapter approve this nomination for consideration.
