The Northern Illinois Chapter, NECA covers all or parts of nine counties in Northern Illinois. The Chapter represents the entire counties of Boone, Lee, Ogle, Stephenson and Winnebago. The Chapter also represents parts of Carroll, DeKalb, Jo Daviess, and Whiteside counties.

Membership is open to Electrical Contractors (Regular Members) and suppliers of goods and services to the electrical contracting industry (Associate Members).

Meetings:
Regular Membership Meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of the month, excluding the three summer months and December. A special Christmas Party is held in place of the December meeting.

Services offered through the National Office, Midwestern Region Office, and the Local Chapter include Labor Relations, Marketing Services, Management Education, Government Affairs, Convention-Exposition, Regional Conferences, Chapter Conferences, On Site Business Consulting, Insurance Programs, Technical Training, and many others.
