Miami Dolphins Stadium $500 Million Renovation, Tri-City Electric Company, Inc.

When we announced the creation of the NECA Project Excellence Awards the intent was two-fold. We wanted to increase awareness of the incredible electrical work performed by NECA members across the country, and we wanted to recognize the individual companies and teams behind the best work of the year. We had no way of knowing how the awards would be received, or whether any projects would even be submitted. Not only were we pleasantly surprised by the interest in the awards, and number of submissions, we were blown away by the display of professionalism, craftsmanship, and passion for the work.

Determining the winner within each awards category was not easy. The judges based their decisions on multiple factors including aesthetics, application of technology, difficulty, innovation, and originality. With so many outstanding projects, we regret not being able to award everyone who applied.

NECA thanks to our members for sharing their submissions and the NECA Business Development Task Force members for reviewing and judging the projects.

Congratulations to the 2017 Award Winners!

Winners will be officially recognized at NECA 2017 Seattle, during Monday’s General Session.
