NECA Member Dynalectric (EMCOR Group) Awarded Contracts for Installation of Electrical Systems at Fort Benning

Fort Benning is an army base steeped in history, while boasting an extremely modern outlook to whole-soldier care. Fort Benning’s Resiliency Campus is the center of operations for these fitness and training programs benefiting soldiers and their families.

Dynalectric, a division of EMCOR Group, will be responsible for installing electrical systems in two buildings on the Resiliency Campus, while preserving and restoring the buildings’ historic architecture. The largest was built in 1934 and will serve as the key Resiliency Center facility; it requires a complete electrical and telecommunications reinstallation. Dynalectric will also install LED lighting and a digital lighting control system, new fire alarm system, lightning protection system, a new telecommunications riser, and upgraded electric distribution.

On the second smaller building, Dynalectric will replace existing lighting with digitally-controlled LED fixtures and fire alarm systems, while updating the existing electrical systems.

This wide range of electrical services performed through a single contract is routine for NECA contractors who perform work for the U.S. military. “Dynalectric is pleased to have been selected to provide the range of electrical systems that Fort Benning requires at the Resiliency Campus," said Ray Hopkins, President of Dynalectric. ”Fort Benning is an historical military facility with an important mission, and we look forward to being a part of the team." Look for project updates soon!
