Anniversary Celebration

Born for Safety - May

  • During national Electrical Safety Month, NECA will distribute specially packaged safety plug covers to help hundreds of thousands of American families protect their newborn children and promote electrical safety.


  • An Evening at the Air & Space Museum -

  • NECA has reserved the famous Air & Space Museum for a very special opening reception for the 2001 NECA Anniversary Convention. Guests will mingle and dance amidst the most significant artifacts from our nation's aeronautical history from the airplane that made the first flight at Kitty Hawk to the first lunar module that carried Neil Armstrong to the moon.


  • Closing Gala at the Kennedy Center -

  • NECA members and guests will be treated to a night of entertainment in the classic elegance of Washington's world famous center for the arts - the Kennedy Center. A monument to Camelot, this landmark, has stunning views of the Potomac River, the glittering lights of historic Georgetown and the infamous Watergate.
