You’re Invited: NECA 2014 Chicago Convention & Trade Show

September 27-30, 2014

 

On behalf of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), I'd like to invite you to attend the #1 electrical construction industry trade show, NECA 2014 Chicago, September 27-30, at McCormick Place West, Chicago, IL.   

NECA encourages members of the press to write articles, conduct interviews and share your experiences while attending NECA 2014 Chicago. If you'd like the opportunity to attend the NECA Show (for free!) on behalf of your blog, agency or publication, don't delay - requests must be submitted no later than Tuesday, September 15 (more details below.)  

What's Included:

Upon approval, media and press attendees will receive complimentary NECA Show access, which includes admission to all three days of the trade show, the Showstopper Showcase, featuring the latest products and innovations, plus, attend your choice of 19 FREE technical workshops on the NECA Show floor!

The show hours are as follows:

Sept. 28 - 30, 2014

Sunday: 11:30am - 5:00pm
Monday: 11:30am - 4:00pm
Tuesday: 9:00am - 1:00pm

As a member of the press, you will also be given access to our on-site pressroom. Exclusive to members of the media, the pressroom will include workstations, free Wi-Fi access, seating for interviews, supporting materials and on-site assistance. 

NOTE: All press registration inquiries will be reviewed before attendees receive registration confirmation. You will be notified shortly after submitting your inquiry whether your press credentials have been approved or not. Press passes will be provided to attendees on-site via the registration desk.

How do I sign up?

Qualified members of the press who wish to attend NECA 2014 Chicago, should submit a request to Adrianne Gracias (aeg@necanet.org) no later than Tuesday, September 16 with the subject line “Press Registration for NECA 2014 Chicago.”

Interviews & Special Accommodations:

If you would like to pre-arrange an interview with an exhibitor, member-contractor or NECA executive on a specific topic while on-site, please reach out to me no later than Monday, September 1. 

Special accommodations may be made for press/media officials to attend specific sessions or events not included with your initial registration package, though there is no guarantee of approval. Special requests can be added to your initial request for registration email, and should include: which event(s) (date/time/session ID#), how many will be attending and a brief description of your purpose for attending and/or, why you'd like to cover this session.

If you have already received attendee approval as a member of the press, please send a formal request to aeg@necanet.org with the subject line: "Additional Session Requested for Press Attendee Registration," including the session information requested above.
