The National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) is now accepting submissions for the 2017 Student Chapter of the Year awards program.
Since 2014, NECA has presented the Student Chapter of the Year award as a way to encourage and reward outstanding NECA Student Chapters. The award recognizes and those students, faculty and NECA staff running successful student chapters by promoting activities that expose students to the electrical contracting industry and facilitating interaction between members and students year-round.
The objective of the award is also to serve as an incentive to Student Chapters that may not have enough funds to organize activities.
Penn State University was the recipient of the 2016 Student Chapter of the Year Award.
Who will take the prize this year? Complete details about the award is attached. Activities included in application should range from fall 2016 to spring 2017 semesters.
The winner of this award will be recognized at NECA's annual convention and trade show, NECA 2017 Seattle, during the Student Chapter Summit.
