Can the injury & illness records that you are required to maintain stand up to OSHA’s tough scrutiny?
Not only is the agency taking a closer look at such documents but the procedures that employers use to compile them are also the focus of increased enforcement attention. In addition, proposed rules on what types of injuries must be recorded continue to loom on the horizon. And, even before these can be promulgated, OSHA is pushing forward with emphasis programs and new compliance activities. As part of a new reporting rule issued by OSHA, all employers will be required to submit their 300A Summary electronically beginning on Jan. 1, 2017. OSHA has also given all employers until July 1, 2017 to submit the 300A electronically via its web portal for employers of 20-249 for the calendar year 2016 and July 1, 2018 for calendar year 2017.
This webinar will review what NECA members need to know about these new rules and how to properly log worksite injuries.
