Risk Identification & Mitigation in Project Management Course

The principal role of any project manager is to recognize, predict, and prevent project risk to achieve the anticipated project outcomes. This course will discuss the types of risk project managers confront each day to help them better understand the role of project management in the business process.

 Following this class, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss the different types of risk they encounter on a project
  • Explain how risks may impact the business
  • Discuss industry practices relating to division of roles and interactions between the field supervision, project managers, and corporate executives
  • Describe practical policies and procedures for project management which support reduced variation in labor, material, and cash utilization

Target audience: Experienced project managers
