Cant-Miss Webinar Highlights Significant Changes in the National Electrical Code
Every three years, the National Electrical Code (NEC®) is updated to reflect the newest installation practices utilized by the electrical industry, bringing about hundreds of changes to the code. To review these changes, the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) will host a 90-minute webinar on Thursday, September 24 to provide NECA member-contractors and industry professionals with a look at some of the most significant changes in the code.
Join us on Thursday, September 24 at 11am for a 90-minute webinar on Significant Changes in the 2014 NEC®, presented by NECA executive director of standards and safety, Michael Johnston.
Full of critical information, this webinar focuses on the NEC, which is the adopted set of installation rules that electrical contractors must meet when performing installations of equipment and systems. Attendees will gain valuable information related to new NEC articles, expanded AFCI and GFCI rules, and additional changes associated with evolving technologies.
“This event is a must-attend for those seeking a high-level review of NEC revisions that apply directly to their current business operations, especially if working in jurisdictions that have adopted the 2014 NEC,” states Johnston. “This webinar is a high-energy program that promises to deliver authoritative overviews of many of the Code changes that must be understood by contractors and installers alike.”
This webinar will also provide attendees with a preview of the full NEC changes preconvention session presented at NECA 2015 San Francisco on October 2.
